I'm not big on search engine optimisation (SEO) software. Most of it is pretty boring I find.
A couple of things impressed me when I used SEO Elite:
1) The guide that came with it. I literarly followed it word for word in doing my on-page optimisation. It really felt like I had someone guiding me in doing all the right things and it eliminated the doubt I had of whether my on page elements page were optimised correctly.
2) The depth of details that are produced in the analysis reports. It's very fascinating to find out what others are doing to rank top for their chosen keywords. You really get to see which anchor text they are using for their backlink and what sites they are linking from.
3) It gives you a clear target... if you want to rank number 1 on the search engines for a particular keyword you can running an SEO Elite analysis on someone who is already ranked number 1 for the keyword, then you can see exactly how many backlinks you'll need and the kind of anchor text you need to use to get top ranking
I think this is one of those standout products that delivers as promised from my experience.
