To me the key would be to provide very specialised information in your membership site. Information that people won't find in an ebook or would prefer to receive in smaller chunks.

If you want to take it another level you could set up a membership site which comes with support. Providing support/mentoring is a great way to provide extra value and you can charge more for a mentoring program as part of your membership site if you wish.
